Woman with brown skin and curly hair

Vinitha Gadiraju

I am a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at the University of Colorado, Boulder, advised by Dr. Shaun Kane. My graduate research focuses on designing and creating accessible tools to support collaborative, playful education for children with disabilities. I am passionate about using my expertise in qualitative methods to build community partnerships and explore user-informed technology.

My work has been published in top-tier international conferences, such as the ACM Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI) and the ACM SIGACCESS Conference on Computers and Accessibility (ASSETS). My research has also been funded through multiple awards, including the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship (NSF GRFP) and the Chateaubriand Fellowship.

I will be graduating in Spring 2023 and am currently on the academic and industry job market. I would love to chat more about my research interests and job opportunities!
